Hey Everyone!

I am Aditya Darekar.

Just a 22-year-old university kid trying to understand what I love about what I love which is why you will find me writing about small and big topics ranging from DIY Cooking to Book Reviews to even some Tech Reviews (the Tech I can find in stores nearby, for now) and some Productivity tips, I use most times if not all the time. 

If this is not the first time you have read one of my articles, it's because I am an author on Medium too. I have been on Medium since 2021 and have about 50+ posts on my Medium page that you won't find on this site. You can find my Medium posts here. 

So why did I start this blog?

The idea of this blog has been on the top of my head ever since early 2020. However, I was too peculiar about perfecting the design of this blog, and that perfectionism took a toll on me, leading me to drop the idea of launching this blog altogether.

In April of 2021, I decided to start writing on Medium. The advantage was not having to worry about blog design at all and just focusing on writing. 

A piece of advice I had heard early on was to simply showcase your work and not expect it to be perfect for the first 50 iterations. And that's why the first fifty posts on my Medium pages are all about me trying to perfect my writing and find a niche.

Alas, after 57 posts on Medium, I can say I have learned a lot about writing but won't be sticking to a single niche. And this is where this blog comes in...


This blog, I believe, will help me segment my posts better so that anyone landing on this site can read the posts according to their niche. I will continue writing on Tech, Productivity, DIY Cooking, Book Reviews, and Life Advice, and even add on more genres as I go on. 

Having different pages to land on will allow my readers, that is you, to find all the relevant articles on a single page. Also contacting me is easier than scrolling all over the Medium page, and mining for my Twitter profile.

Secondly, using a host like Blogger allows me to write more freely and use images in the format I wish (unlike Medium, where images are only center-aligned). More reader-friendly content like widgets can also be incorporated, so the page looks more beautiful.

How did I get started?

Good Question.

My journey with blogging started when I was 12 years old. A Disney MMO game called Club Penguin got me interested and I started posting walkthroughs about the in-game events ever since. I blogged for about 2 years before moving on from Club Penguin. Wrote about it a little over here: 

Reading books has always been a favorite pastime for me. If I am not writing, I am definitely reading, and what better way to learn more about what you are interested in than sharing it with others. 

I am hoping to connect more with my readers with this blog. However, you will find my posts going up on Medium too, if you follow me there.

I Tried Bullet Journaling for 60 Days — 3 Reasons It Didn’t Work Out For Me

Source: Author | Bullet Journal Yes. I tried my best but Bullet Journaling or BuJo, as some Productophiles call it, didn’t work out for me. At all.
